Recently the Louis Toffolon Elementary School’s Student Council, with the guidance of the school nurse Marta Santiago, collected pennies for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The program is titled: Pennies for Patients and their motto is Every Hero Needs a Squad. Toffolon students in all grades donated a total of $1,068.82 in pennies for the cause.
